SENIORS REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST

Seniors over 55 are the fastest growing segment of property owners in our nation, and the bulk of their personal wealth is invested in real estate.  Many Seniors have not invested in or sold real estate property in many years and, consequently, they have special issues and requirements affecting them.  They need to know how they should go about protecting and increasing their equity.  Changes in lifestyle and personal situations can often occur quickly and dramatically.  Good real estate planning is one of  the most important issues Seniors should address now for their financial security.


I believe that education has been vital to my consistent success in real estate. Having received additional training through The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council and awarded the designation of "Seniors Real Estate Specialist" has given me the opportunity as a Realtor to focus my business on Seniors and to consult with them about their options regarding real estate issues.  Since I am also a Senior over 55, I too express similar interests and concerns.  This enables me to provide assistance to meet their requests with utmost integrity and respect, since we are on common ground, and I can more easily understand their unique circumstances and specialized needs.


I am also a member of the South Bay Estate Planning Council, The National Council on the Aging, the Peninsula Seniors, and PVE CARES (Palos Verdes Estates Community Assistance and Resources for the Elderly and Seniors) under the direction of the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department.


As a Real Estate Consultant, my objective is to help homeowners make wise decisions about whether or not to sell the family home, downsize to a smaller home or condominium, buy/sell investment property, and manage the capital gains and estate tax implications of owning real estate. With proper planning, there are tax and cash flow benefits available to Seniors over 55.  I can assist in identifying these potential windfalls to help better manage their real estate assets and maximize their net worth.


I have found that Seniors like to tread slowly when making the major decision of selling their homes.  They appreciate having all the facts before making a commitment.  I encourage my clients to consult with family, financial advisers, the family attorney and whomever they entrust for support.
